Launching a new crisp brand
Famed for their dairy ice cream, Mackie’s wanted to expand their product range and approached us to conduct some detailed research to understand the opportunities in the premium potato crisp market. Mackie’s had identified the opportunity to extend their offering and wanted to get some insight to feed into their product development plans. We worked hand-in-hand with Mackie’s to create and deliver taste trials and research plans. After some highly promising feedback we set about creating all that was necessary to unleash a first-rate crisp brand on the nation, resulting in a retail value of £6m in the first year alone.
